Be available during the exam to answer student questions.
Promptly inform the UTC during exam administration of any errors found on the exam,
any announcements made in class, and/or any changes to the administration of the exam
(extending time, providing additional formulas, etc.).
Additional Policies:
The UTC requests two (2) business days notice for exam requests, whenever possible.
Appointments are processed based on availability and therefore cannot be guaranteed.
Exams with advanced notice are more likely to be accepted.
Students disregarding center guidelines, acting suspiciously, or suspected of cheating
will be reported to their instructor and may be subject to disciplinary action.
Students can ask Testing Center staff for clarification on instructions only. Testing
Center staff will contact the instructor with any questions or concerns brought to
their attention during test administration.
The UTC is closed and proctoring is unavailable during University Holidays and when
classes are cancelled due to inclement weather.
The University Testing Center regularly interacts with a large number of individuals
at risk for serious illness, including those who are immunocompromised. For the safety
of our students, faculty, and staff; the UTC is unable to proctor students who are
currently ill. Test-takers must be fever-free for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever reducing medications, before coming to our office. Students with a fever, experiencing respiratory or GI symptoms, may be asked to reschedule their exam. Instructors
will be notified immediately if the UTC is unable to accommodate their student upon
arrival.
