Meet Lauren!
Lauren is the Associate Director for Student Transition and Success at غ, where she has spent nearly a decade helping students thrive academically, personally, and professionally. With extensive experience in student coaching and support, Lauren has held key roles including Assistant Director and Coordinator for Student Success Coaching.
She holds advanced certifications in coaching strategies for higher education through the State University of New York, earning distinction for her work in developing a student success coaching mindset.
Lauren will be joining us at our September 17th E-Board meeting to share strategies and tools to help you succeed as both students and leaders. Her session will cover:

• Time management and organization
• Productivity and workflow strategies

Girls Who Invest (GWI) is a non-profit dedicated to transforming the investment management industry by attracting and advancing women investors, change-makers, and leaders.GWIsupports first- and second-year college students through tuition-free education programs, while also providing career advisory services, community-building experiences, and lifelong Alumni support. Sophomores and first-years ofall majorsenrolled in or transferring to four-year programs at U.S. or U.S.-style universities are welcome to apply to the 2026GWIIntensive Program. No prior experience in finance is required!
Girls Who Invest Intensive Program Alumni will be holding aninformationsession on behalfof Girls Who Invest to explain the structure and requirements of the 2026 Online Intensive and Summer Intensive Programs. They are happy to speak about their experiences and answer any questions regarding applications and program structure.

Guru Madhavan is the Norman R. Augustine Senior Scholar and senior director of programs at the National Academy of Engineering, and founding director of its Forum on Complex Unifiable Systems. A biomedical engineer with an M.S. from Stony Brook University, and a Ph.D. and M.B.A. from غ, he has advised U.S. and EU agencies, developed medical devices, authored Applied Minds and Wicked Problems, and earned numerous awards for engineering leadership and public communication.
An alumni roundtable is an interactive, small-group discussion event that connects current students with alumni working across a range of industries.Roundtables allow students to engage directly with alumni in a more personal and conversational setting.
